Terms
Terms & Conditions
The terms on which you may use QuitWithoutNotice.com. They govern your use of this website. They do not decide which employment law applies to your job — that comes from where you work and what you agreed with your employer.
QuitWithoutNotice.com provides general information and decision-support tools, not legal, financial, employment, or other professional advice. Employment rules vary by jurisdiction and individual circumstances. Check the law and terms applicable to your situation and seek qualified local advice when necessary.

1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using QuitWithoutNotice.com ("the website"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
These terms apply to everyone who visits, reads or uses the website and its tools. They are between you and the publisher of the website; no third party acquires rights under them.
2. Use of the website
You may read the website, use its calculators, and share links to its pages, for your own personal or internal business purposes, subject to the rest of these terms.
The website is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising on some of its pages. It requires no account, and no registration or payment is offered or accepted. Access may be interrupted, changed or withdrawn at any time.
3. Informational purpose
QuitWithoutNotice.com is an independent online information and decision-support website providing employment-related calculators, educational resources, and jurisdiction-aware guidance.
Everything published here is general information intended to help you understand a situation and prepare better questions. It is written for a general audience and cannot account for the facts of your own employment, contract or country.
4. No legal advice
The website is not a law firm and does not provide legal services, legal representation or individualized legal advice. Using the website, reading its guidance, or sending a message through it does not create a solicitor-client, attorney-client, or any other professional relationship.
No one associated with the website reviews your employment contract, assesses your case, or advises you on what to do. For advice about your own situation, consult a qualified employment lawyer or the appropriate labour authority in your jurisdiction.
5. No financial or other professional advice
Nothing on the website is financial, tax, accounting, immigration, medical or human-resources advice. The runway calculator and any figures it produces are planning estimates, not a financial plan and not a recommendation to take or refrain from any financial action.
Decisions about resigning have consequences that depend on facts the website does not know. Seek qualified advice where the stakes warrant it.
6. Calculator limitations
The calculators and the assessment are decision-support tools. They run entirely in your browser and produce results from the information you enter, using general models of how notice periods, unserved notice and personal runway usually work.
Their output is an estimate and not a statement of your legal position, an amount your employer may lawfully recover, or an amount you are entitled to. They do not know your contract, your collective agreement, your local statutory minimums, your tax position or your employer’s practice.
Results depend entirely on the accuracy of what you enter. Rounding, calendar conventions and simplifying assumptions mean a figure here may differ from a figure calculated by your employer or under your local rules.
7. Jurisdictional information
Employment rules vary by country and often by region within a country. Pages that name a jurisdiction describe that jurisdiction only, as at the date shown, and cite the primary sources they rely on. Pages that name no jurisdiction are deliberately general and describe no particular country’s law.
Reading a page in a particular language does not mean it describes the law where that language is spoken. Language and jurisdiction are separate.
What applies to your employment is determined by your jurisdiction, your employment contract, the applicable employment law and your particular circumstances — including collective agreements, sector rules and your employer’s policies. Section 18 of these terms concerns the law governing your use of this website, and has no bearing on any of that.
8. Accuracy and updates
The website is written and reviewed with care, its jurisdictional claims are tied to named primary sources, and each source carries the date it was last verified. Even so, law and practice change, sources are revised, and errors are possible.
No guarantee is given that the website is accurate, complete or current at the moment you read it. Dates shown on a page tell you when its content last changed and when its sources were last checked; use them.
Corrections are welcome and are acted on. Reporting one is the fastest way to have an inaccuracy fixed.
9. External links and advertising
The website links to external sources, principally legislation and government agency guidance. Those websites are controlled by other organisations, and their content, availability and privacy practices are their own.
A link is a citation, not an endorsement, and no responsibility is accepted for the content of any external website.
Some pages show advertisements served by Google. They are selected and delivered by Google and its partners, not by the publisher; they are not endorsements or recommendations, and nothing in an advertisement is legal, financial or employment advice from this website. Dealings with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser. The privacy policy explains how advertising on the website uses cookies and how to limit personalised ads.
10. Intellectual property
The text, design, code and arrangement of the website are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights, and belong to the publisher, except where material is quoted from or attributed to another source.
You may read, print and quote reasonable extracts for personal or internal business use, with attribution and a link to the page quoted. You may not republish substantial parts of the website, present its content as your own, or use it to train, fine-tune or populate an automated system that reproduces it.
Legislation and official government guidance cited here remain the property of, and are subject to the terms of, the bodies that publish them.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the website to do anything unlawful, and not to:
- Interfere with the website or its security. Including attempting to gain unauthorised access, probing or testing its defences without permission, or introducing malicious code.
- Overload or disrupt it. Including automated requests at a volume that degrades the service for others.
- Scrape or republish it wholesale. Systematic copying of the website’s content for republication, or for building a competing or derivative dataset, is not permitted.
- Misrepresent it. Presenting the website as legal advice, as an official or governmental source, or as endorsing you, your organisation or your product.
12. User submissions
The website does not host accounts, comments, reviews or user-generated content, and it operates no form. The only way to send something is by email, to the address published on the contact page.
If you send such a message, you are responsible for what you choose to include and you confirm that you are entitled to share it. Do not send sensitive personal, employment, financial, medical or confidential legal information, and do not send anything covered by legal privilege or by a confidentiality obligation you are under.
A message you send is not confidential, does not create any professional relationship, and may be used to improve the website — for example, to correct a page — in a way that does not identify you.
- The contact page explains what to send and what not to.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The website and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
No warranty is given that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that its content is accurate, complete or applicable to your situation.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights you may have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any loss or damage arising out of your use of, or reliance on, the website or its tools — including lost income, lost employment, disputed notice pay, penalties, legal costs, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Decisions about resigning are yours, and their consequences depend on your contract, your jurisdiction and your circumstances. The website informs a decision; it does not make one, and it cannot be responsible for one.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, it is limited to the minimum permitted by law.
15. Indemnification
If you use the website in breach of these terms or unlawfully — for example by republishing its content without permission, or by attacking or disrupting it — you agree to be responsible for the reasonable losses, costs and claims that arise directly from that use.
This does not apply to ordinary use of the website as intended, and it does not extend to matters caused by the publisher.
16. Changes to the website
The website is developed continuously. Pages may be added, rewritten, corrected, merged or removed, tools may change, and coverage of particular countries may expand or be withdrawn. No commitment is made to keep any page, URL or tool available.
17. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page is the date the wording last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies to your use of the website from that date.
Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not, stop using the website.
18. Governing law
These terms and your use of this website are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under the consumer-protection law of the country you live in.
This clause is about the website and nothing else. It does not make Indian law apply to your employment. What governs your job — and what you owe if you resign without serving notice — is determined by your employment contract and the employment law of the place you work, wherever that is.
19. Contact
Questions about these terms, and anything that looks like an error in them, can be raised through the contact page.
